Philip Howard is an Ocracoke historian and storyteller who has been collecting Ocracoke Tales for many years. In addition to his appearances at the Ocrafolk Opry, Philip calls the traditional Ocracoke squaredance and conducts ghost and history walks with his daughter Amy Howard.

Amy can also be found working on quilts with the Ocracoke Needle and Thread Society, and chasing her son up and down Howard Street.
